What you’ll explore

Connection before complexity.

This lesson develops base step & pulse through a partner-first lens: clear preparation, comfortable mechanics, and a shared sense of timing. You’ll learn where the movement begins, how it travels through the connection, and how to return to your base without rushing.

01 Find the pathway slowly before adding momentum.

02 Keep the lead readable and the response self-powered.

03 Practice both sides, then reconnect it to music.

Start with the movement at half speed. Repeat three times without music, three times to a steady pulse, then once inside a relaxed basic sequence. Pause whenever the partnership loses ease.
